Job Summary

C.A.T. Global is a renowned North American logistics and transportation company. We are committed to delivering exceptional service and innovative solutions to our clients. We are looking for an enthusiastic and organized Sales Coordinator to help support our growing sales team.

Reporting to the Director of Sales, the Sales Coordinator will work closely with the sales team to provide administrative support and enhance productivity. This role involves coordinating sales activities, maintaining customer databases, managing sales documentation, and facilitating communication between various departments to ensure that client needs are met efficiently and effectively.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the sales team, including budget tracking, pipeline summary updates, bid cycle management, and CRM KPI reporting.
  • Assist in the preparation of RFI/RFP/RFQ proposals, contracts, and quotations, ensuring inter-departmental involvement, accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Track and help maintain customer databases in CRM for performance metrics.
  • Coordinate sales pipeline, ensuring accuracy and timely follow-ups on leads and opportunities.
  • Act as a liaison between the sales team and other departments, including Legal, Contracts, Claims, Accounting, Payables, Assets and Intermodal to ensure seamless operations, internal compliance, and customer experience.
  • Monitor sales performance and generate reports on sales metrics to assist management in decision-making including budget forecasting and KPI reporting.
  • Help plan and book sales travel, organize and participate in sales events and trade shows.
  • Manage travel related sales expenses, assisting to approve and reconcile expense reports adhering to company policies.
  • Support the team in executing sales strategies and initiatives, including active management of Asset, Intermodal and value add tertiary services to widen customer experience and scope.

 

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in a sales support or administrative role, preferably within a sales environment.

 

Required Skills

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
  • Strong analytical skills to help identify trends and generate reports.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
